Canadian computer scientist Geoff Collyer (b. 1958) is co-author of C News and designer of the NOV database used by USENET newsreaders. While at Bell Laboratories, he contributed to the Plan 9 operating system. Geo® is a noted Plan 9 and UNIX enthusiast.
